It's Simple

Here's my card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  I substituted a heart for the layout's round element to create a clean and simple love themed design.  I used one of the Pierced Heart STAX dies to cut a heart shape out of a wide panel of red cardstock. After edging the red panel with narrow strips of silver cardstock, I used foam tape to adhere the panel to a pink card base with a piece of patterned paper, positioning it so that the pattern showed through the negative space in the panel.  The "It's simple. I love you" sentiment from the Essential Sentiments set was stamped just beneath the raised red panel in coordinating red ink.
