Unfrogettable

Hope Your Day Is Unfrog-getable card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs
Here's my card for this month's Mix it Up challenge at SugarPea Designs.  I paired the color scheme with the layout for this sweet design.

I colored up the cutie from the Unfrogettable stamp set with Copic markers for my focal image, then cut out the colored image using my Scan 'n Cut.  For the background, I adhered a slanted panel of green dotted paper to the bottom of a blue panel to serve as a grassy hillside, then added the image on top using foam tape for dimension.  To fill in the scene, I used dies from the Whatever the Weather die set to cut out a sun and cloud to position at the top right corner of the panel.  I stamped the "hope your day is unfrog-getable" sentiment at the bottom of the card just to the right of the image in black ink.  After adhering a narrow strip of orange cardstock to the left side of the panel, I adhered the panel to a green card base to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Unfrogetable stamp set, Whatever the Weather dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Summer Sunrise and Simply Chartreuse cardstock, Simply Chartreuse patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Ocean cardstock (Recollections); Crystal Stardream cardstock (The Paper Cut); foam tape
