It's time for another
Color Throwdown! Amy Rohl is our hostess this week with a fabulous mix of colors--yellow, gray, and white.

I paired the colors with
the current Fab Friday Challenge. The layout's large panel was perfect for the pretty pair of flowers from
Papertrey Ink's Daydreamer stamp set. I inked the stems in gray and stamped them on the panel. The flowers were inked in two shades of yellow using the "rock and roll" technique, then stamped at the tops of the stems. I matted the stamped panel on gray cardstock and adhered it to the center of a golden yellow card base. I probably should have gone with a more mustard-y shade of yellow to more closely match the inspiration photo...The "one-of-a-kind friend" sentiment from PTI's Friends 'Til the End set was stamped in gray ink on a golden yellow fishtail flag strip. I matted it on a slightly larger gray strip before placing it at the bottom of the image panel. A simple piece of knotted gray satin ribbon secured to the right side of the sentiment panel completed the design.
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using
these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project
using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.
As always, if you don’t have exact color
matches, something close works just fine.
Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your
project.
And, if you upload your project
to an online gallery, use the keyword
CTD594.
If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the
hashtag #ctd594 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on
Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color
Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper Angie Cimbalo.
