You're Plane Awesome
Here's my card for the current challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches. I used stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn for this cute design.
I colored one of the plane images from LF's Plane and Simple stamp set with Copic markers, then cut out the colored image with the matching die. After cutting out a pair of clouds from shimmery white cardstock, I used foam tape to adhere the clouds and plane to a light blue cardstock circle. The circle was matted on contrasting red cardstock, then adhered to a blue cardstock panel over a strip of red plaid patterned paper. The set's "you're plane awesome" sentiment was stamped beneath the plaid strip in cheery red ink. The finished panel was adhered to a red card base to match the mat beneath the image panel.
Materials Used:
Plane and Simple stamp set, Plane and Simple dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black and Lady Bug inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Soft Sky and Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Crystal Stardream metallic cardstock (The Paper Cut); Pure Poppy patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
