Color Throwdown 599-The Berry Best

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Vickie is our hostess this week with a pretty mix of pastel colors--pink, yellow, blue, and green.

I paired the colors with the current challenge at CAS(e) this Sketch for a berry themed design that also serves as my take on this month's hello/just because themed Stock Your Stash challenge at Reverse Confetti.  My berries were die cut from pink cardstock with RC's Berry Sweet dies, then stamped with the coordinating stamp set's seed image. To add depth to the die cut pieces, I inked them with some pink distress oxides before topping them with green die cut stems and using foam tape to arrange them at the top of a yellow label die cut.  The set's "you're the berry best" sentiment" was stamped at the bottom of the label die cut in Worn Lipstick distress oxide.  I adhered the berry-topped label to a light blue plaid patterned paper panel, then adhered the panel to a pink card base to complete the design.
