Swinging By to Say Hello

Here's my card for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge.  I don't have any of Lawn Fawn's fun interactive dies, so I made my own small interactive element on this card with a stamped image, a channel die, and a slider element.

Swinging by to Say Hello card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
The cute monkey hanging from the leafy vine is the interactive element.  The monkey's tail is looped around the vine and it is able to swing along the branch thanks to a slider element on the back of the image and a channel in the cloud stenciled background behind the image. The monkey and vine images from the Love Ya Bunches stamp set were colored with Copic markers and cut out with the matching dies.  I stenciled the clouds with a cloud stencil and blue distress oxide, then arranged them inside and around a circular opening in an aqua cardstock panel.  The mini scene was filled in with a die cut sun and a strip of border punched grass.  The blue panel was adhered to the stenciled panel with foam tape, allowing the image to move freely in the channel.  The "swinging by to say" sentiment was stamped in black ink, curved to match the shape of the circle.  I finished the sentiment by stamping the script "hello" to the lower right of the circle.

Materials Used:
Love Ya Bunches stamp/die set, Spring Showers dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Broken China distress oxide (Ranger); Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse, and Bright Buttercup cardstock (Papertrey Ink); circle dies (Spellbinders); Downhill Slope dies, Cloud stencil, slider element(My Favorite Things); foam tape
