Thanks for Always Perking Me Up
Here's my card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. It appears that I'm on a Pure Innocence streak for the challenge--this is my third MFTWSC card in a row with one of these cuties! This one is from the Grande-Sized Love stamp set. I colored her up with Copic markers before using my Scan 'n Cut machine to cut out the colored image. She was adhered over a stenciled brick patterned panel using foam tape for dimension. The English Brick Wall stencil is a recent addition to my collection and this is my first time using it. I will definitely be using it more--it is an easy way to add an interesting background for an image. I left enough un-stenciled space at the bottom of the panel to stamp the set's "thanks for always perking me up" sentiment. The panel was matted on kraft cardstock, then adhered to a blue cardfront over a trio of long red cardstock strips.
Materials Used:
Grande-Sized Love stamp set, English Brick Wall stencil (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Vintage Photo distress ink (Ranger); markers (Copic); Blue Bayou cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); Quick Stripes dies (Mama Elephant); foam tape
