You Are Spec-tacular
Here's my card for the current Paper Smooches black, white, and pop of color challenge. I went with the classic black, white, and red combo and paired the colors with the Incognito stamp set and Glasses dies. I cut the frames from black cardstock and from craft foam. After layering the two die cuts, I adhered them to a white die cut circle. The circle was placed on the left side of a red cardstock panel, overlapping a wide strip of black cardstock on the right side of the panel. The glasses were accented with a bunch of red stars cut with the PS Stars dies. For dimension, I arranged the stars using foam tape. The "you're spec-tacular" sentiment from the Incognito set was stamped at the bottom of the black panel in white pigment ink, then heat embossed in white for an extra pop. The finished red cardstock panel was adhered to a contrasting black card base.
Materials Used:
Incognito stamp set, Glasses and Stars dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Red Punch cardstock, Snow embossing powder (Recollections); circle dies (Spellbinders); craft foam; foam tape
