OMG

Here's my card for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  I did a masculine take on the sketch, using black and gray with silver accents for my simple design.

OMG card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti

I found a black on gray graphic patterned paper from one of Reverse Confetti's paper pads and built my design around that.  After cutting a block of the patterned paper and matting it on black, I adhered it to a gray card base. I used RC's Seeing Stars dies to cut a trio of stars from shimmery silver paper. The stars were adhered to the bottom of the patterned panel using foam tape for dimension.  For the sentiment, I stamped the large solid "OMG" from RC's OMG stamp set in silver ink, then heat embossed it in silver before cutting the letters out with the matching die. The letters were arranged on the panel using more foam tape.  I stamped the "you are killing it" sentiment on a narrow strip of gray cardstock and placed it beneath the large letters to complete the design.

Materials Used:
OMG stamp set, Stormy cardstock, From Cupid 6x6 paper pad, OMG and Seeing Stars dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Basic Black cardstock, Sterling Silver embossing powder (Stampin' Up!); Silver cardstock (Recollections); foam tape
