Here's my card for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. My design is a pretty literal interpretation of the sketch, but I saw a perfect opportunity to use my Sohcahtoa stamp set from Altenew and couldn't resist inking it up!
I used a trio of different triangular images from the set, mixing solids with stripes for interest. The triangles were stamped on a white panel in pale aqua and teal inks. The set's "you are amazing" sentiment was stamped underneath one large triangle and to the left of the other in teal ink. For contrast with all of the lines and angles, I added a teal enamel dot to each of the triangles. The finished panel was adhered to a teal card base so that the crisp, clean white panel would stand out against the vibrant background.
Materials Used:
Socahtoa stamp set (Altenew); Iced Aqua ink (Reverse Confetti); Tropical Teal ink (My Favorite Things); Ocean cardstock (Recollections); teal enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet)
This is such a fun use of the sketch!! I love the colors and the striped pattern! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
