Stuck on You

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge.  I combined the layout with elements from the inspiration photo (color scheme and cactus theme) to create this card that uses mostly die cut elements.

Stuck on You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker DesignsI used the So Prickly dies from Lil' Inker Designs to cut a variety of pieces to use create a pair of potted cactus plants.  The die cut elements were arranged on a pale pink card base using foam tape for some of the pieces to add dimension.  I used the same pinks that I used for the cactus elements to create the stripes that I arranged on the right side of the cardfront in a gradient from darkest to lightest.  For the sentiment, I stamped the "stuck on you" sentiment from the So Prickly stamp set in green ink on a narrow lighter green fishtail flag strip. The strip was adhered to the cardfront overlapping both of the plants to finish the card.

Materials Used:
So Prickly stamp set, So Prickly dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Bamboo Leaves ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado, Hibiscus Burst, Sweet Blush, and Raspberry Fizz cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Factory Green cardstock, Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); foam tape
