'Tis the Season

'Tis the Season card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse ConfettiHere's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  My version is a holiday themed take on the sketch featuring a trio of delicate die cut snowflakes.

The snowflakes were cut from sparkly silver cardstock using Reverse Confetti's Snowflake Trio dies.  After dotting the center of each flake with a tiny clear self-adhesive crystal, I arranged them in a triangle near the bottom of a piece of aqua and green striped patterned paper.  It's not the most traditional holiday color scheme, but I tend to prefer non-traditional colors on holiday designs anyway!  I stamped the "'tis the season" sentiment from RC's Seasonal Sentiments cardstock on a teal cardstock strip then used foam tape to adhere it to the panel in the middle of the triangle of flakes. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating green card base.

Materials Used:
Seasonal Sentiments stamp set, Avocado cardstock, Winter Solstice 6x6 paper pad, Snowflake Trio dies (Reverse Confetti); Versafine Clair Nocturne ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Ocean and Silver cardstock (Recollections); clear self-adhesive crystals (Martha Stewart); foam tape
