Thanks a Latte

Thanks a Latte card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs

Here's my card for the current challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday.  I paired the sketch with the optional beverage theme for this coffee themed thank you car.

I used the Coffee To Go die from SugarPea Designs and the coordinating Caffeine Addict stamp set to create the to go cup that serves as my focal image.  I used scraps--one multicolored plaid and one coordinating aqua--for the panels behind the cup.  They were adhered to the right side of a yellow card base then the cup was added on top using foam tape for dimension.  I stamped the "thanks a latte" sentiment from the Espresso Yourself set on an orange cardstock strip.  The strip was positioned on the cardfront, tucking it beneath the raised cup, to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Caffeine Addict and Espresso Yourself stamp sets, Coffee to Go Cup dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Kraft, Lemon Tart and Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Orange Fizz cardstock (My Favorite Things); Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 paper pad (Lawn Fawn); foam tape
