Write On

Write On card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti

Here's my card for the current challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches. I represented the layout's trio of skinny rectangles with pencil images from Reverse Confetti's Worm Wishes stamp set.  The pencils were stamped on white cardstock and colored wiht Copic markers, then cut out with thematching die.  I used foam tape to arrange the pencils on a red cardfront, varying the position of the pencil points and erasers for interest. For the sentiment, I stamped "write on" on a narrow strip of kraft cardstock and used more foam tape to set the words in place over two of the pencils.  I thought about adding a few enamel dots as accents, but in the end decided to leave the design super clean and simple.

Materials Used:
Worm Wishes stamp set, Worm Wishes dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); foam tape
