You're #1 in My Book
Here's my card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I used one of MFT's Pure Innocence sets, Bookworm, for my focal image. I colored the cutie on the stack of books with Copic markers then used the matching die to cut out the colored image. The image was adhered to a blue panel using foam tape for dimension. To go with the book theme, I knew I wanted to use an alphabet print for the second panel. After looking for a coordinating patterned paper for a few minutes, I realized I had a text print background stamp in my stash, so I inked it up with white pigment ink and stamped it on a red panel. Perfect! The panels were arranged on a kraft card base, angled in opposite directions. I stamped the set's "you're #1 in my book" sentiment on a kraft fishtail flag strip and adhered it to the cardfront using foam tape.
