A Bushel of Thanks

A Bushel of Thanks card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used the layout to make a fall themed thank you card with stamps, dies, and patterned papers from Lawn Fawn. My focal image is the basket of apples from the Thanks a Bushel set.  It was colored with Copic markers and cut out with the matching die.  For the background, I adhered a strip of vibrant plaid patterned paper from the Perfectly Plaid Fall paper pad to the left side of a kraft card base, then added a large olive cardstock panel to fill out the rest of the cardfront.  After wrapping a length of gold thread into a messy nest and adhering it to the spot where the two panels meet, I added the image on top using foam tape for dimension. The set's "thanks a bushel" sentiment was stamped to the right of the raised image to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Thanks a Bushel stamp set, Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 paper pad, Thanks a Bushel dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Old Olive cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); gold twine (Recollections); foam tape
