CASE-d Thank You

Here's my card for the current challenge at Global Design Project.  I took my cues from the inspiration card's layout, soft colors, florals, and textured elements to create this thank you themed design.

Thank You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti

For the focal panel, I used a cream scalloped rectangle that I stamped with a leafy branch from Reverse Confetti's Sketched Florals stamp set.  After stamping the branch in a kraft colored ink, I filled in the leaves with pale green ink and the buds with soft pink.  The panel was adhered to a pale pink panel (yes, it's pale pink but it reads as a grayish shade in the photo...) over a herringbone embossed cream panel.  For the sentiment, I stamped the cursive "thank" from RC's All About You stamp set in brown ink on a kraft strip and used foam tape to position the strip on the stamped panel. I dug into my stash of Thickers to finish the sentiment, spelling "you" with green chipboard letters placed beneath the stamped word.  The finished panel was adhered to a cream card base to match the background of the stamped panel.

Materials Used:
Sketched Florals and All About You stamp sets (Reverse Confetti); Memento Toffee Crunch, Rich Cocoa, Angel Pink, and New Sprout inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Rose Petals cardstock (Recollections); Classic Scalloped Rectangle dies (Spellbinders); Herringbone embossing folder (ProvoCraft); Nutmeg Thickers (American Crafts); foam tape
