Nutty for You

Nutty for You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches

Here's my card for the current sketch at TGIF Challenges.  I created a fall themed design using stamps from Paper Smooches.

My focal image is the acorn from the Falling for You set. I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out by hand before using foam tape to adhere it to a pale green circle die cut.  The die cut was positioned at the center of a floral patterned paper panel.  After matting the panel on dark brown cardstock, I adhered it to a pale yellow cardstock panel, framed with narrow scalloped strips just above and below the top and bottom edges of the patterned panel.  The set's "nutty for you" sentiment was stamped beneath the bottom scalloped strip in black ink. I adhered the finished panel to a pale green card base to match the panel beneath the acorn image.

Material Used:
Falling for You stamp set, Falling for You dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, Soft Sky, and Chocolate Chip cardstock, scallop edge punch (Stampin' Up!); Homemade 6 Bean Soup 6x6 paper pad (Jillibean Soup); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
