Germ-Free Card

Germ-Free Card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
Here's my card for the current challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday.  I used the Lawn Fawn Germ-Free Bear stamp set to go with the challenge's optional get well theme.

I colored the bear and mask images with Copic markers before cutting them out with the matching dies.  The bear was positioned on a strip of floral patterned paper using foam tape for dimension.  I added the mask on top, carefully placing it to cover the bear's nose and mouth.  After edging the patterned paper strip with narrow strips of light green cardstock, I adhered the strip to the center of a pale yellow cardstock panel.  The set's "I made this (germ-free) card for you" sentiment was stamped on a wide green double ended banner strip.  I backed the banner with a narrow darker green banner die cut before using more foam tape to place the sentiment beneath the bear image.  The finished panel was adhered to a light green card base matching the sentiment panel.

Materials Used:
Germ-Free Bear stamp set, Spring Fling 6x6 patterned paper pad, Germ-Free Bear dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Barely Banana and Certainly Celery cardstock (Stampin' Up!); New Leaf cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); foam tape
