You Are Soda-Lightful

You Are Soda-Lightful card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things

Here's my card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  I represented the layout's rectangular and square panels with die cut soda bottles and some sweet hearts.  The soda bottles were created with the Soda Pop Bottles dies.  I used foam tape to adhere the assembled bottles to a red panel matching the soda bottle's label.  After punching two circles from dark brown cardstock and adhering them to the panel either above or below a soda bottle, I topped each one with a red pierced heart die cut.  The "you are soda-lightful" sentiment from the Soda Pop stamp set was stamped in brown ink on a kraft fishtail flag strip. I used foam tape to position the sentiment strip over the bottom soda bottle, being sure to leave all of the heart element visible.  The finished panel was adhered to a dark brown card base to match the color of the soda bottles.

Materials Used:
Soda Pop stamp set, Soda Pop Bottles, Pierced Heart STAX, and Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Real Red and Chocolate Chip cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Silver cardstock (Recollections); circle punch (EK Success); foam tape
