Green Thank You

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge. I paired the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo (shades of green, leaves) to create this simple thank you design.

Thank You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Altenew
I used the smaller solid leafy branch from Altenew's Leaf Canopy stamp set to stamp a green branch on a light green cardstock oval. This set is so versatile! The thank you sentiment was stamped so that it overlapped just a little of the branch and leaves.  I adhered the stamped oval to the top of a white cardstock panel. A strip of green gingham patterned paper was adhered to the bottom of the panel. I topped that with a strip of green cardstock matching the image panel, then wrapped a length of twine around the panel at the seam between the two pieces. The twine was secured with a simple bow. It adds a little bit of texture to the simple design. The finished panel was adhered to a green card base matching the green panels on the cardfront.

Materials Used:
Leaf Canopy stamp set, Olive Crisp ink (Altenew); Certainly Celery cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Simply Chartreuse patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); oval dies (Spellbinders); twine; foam tape
