Here's my card for this month's Mix It Up challenge at SugarPea Designs. I paired the sketch with the pale pastel color scheme from the inspiration photo for this telephone themed design.
I couldn't resist ordering the fun Vintage Telephone die from one of SPD's recent releases! I used pastel scraps to piece the phone together, then adhered it to a pale pink panel with a rounded edge using foam tape for dimension. There was room beneath the phone to stamp the "just an old-fashioned hello" sentiment from the Call Me stamp set in gray ink. I adhered the rounded panel to a card base with a strip of pale gray and white striped paper along the bottom. The stripes add a whimsical touch to the simple design.
Materials Used:
Call Me stamp set, Vintage Telephone dies (SugarPea Designs); Soft Sky cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Grout Gray and Steel Grey cardstock (My Favorite Things); Rose Petals cardstock (Recollections); Soft Stone patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
Love this!!!
