Here's my card for this month's Reverse Confetti Spring/Easter themed Stock Your Stash Challenge. Bunnies make me think of spring, so I made them the focus of this card.
The layout is from the current Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge. I used the pair of bunnies from the Rain or Shine set. The duo was colored with Copic markers and cut out by hand. For some texture, I added a little bit of white flock to the bunny tails. The bunnies were adhered to a round blue panel with a strip of green along the bottom to ground them. In my never-ending quest to use up some of my paper scraps, I found a piece of patterned paper with some spring-like shades of blue, green, and pink to use on my cardfront. I matted the patterned strip on coordinating turquoise cardstock before adhering it to a pale pink cardfront. A strip of coordinating green cardstock, edged along the bottom with a narrow strip of turquoise cardstock was adhered to the cardfront, overlapping the top edge of the patterned paper panel. I added the image panel on top. To finish the card, I curved the "some bunny loves you sentiment" from the Snow Bunnies set along a clear block to match the rounded side of the image panel, then stamped the text in black ink.
Materials Used:
Rain or Shine and Snow Bunnies stamp sets (Reverse Confetti); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Sweet Blush cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Tempting Turquoise and Green Galore cardstock (Stampin' Up!); designer paper (My Mind's Eye); circle dies (Spellbinders); white flock (Stampendous); foam tape
