Watt's Up?

Watt's Up? card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from SugarPea Designs
Here's my card for the current challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches. I stretched the sketch just a bit, but I think you can still see the bones there!

I represented the layout's two tall, narrow triangular shapes with a pair of light bulbs from the SugarPea Designs Watt's Up? stamp set. The bulbs were colored with Copic markers to give them a warm glow. I stamped the set's "watt's up?' sentiment at the bottom of the panel in black ink. The panel was matted on black cardstock, then layered on yellow cardstock to bring in both colors from the image panel. I centered the finished panel on a gray cardstock. This yellow and gray combo is Pantone's color of the year for 2021, so you'll probably be seeing it in lots of places!

Materials Used:
Watt's Up? stamp set (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Bright Buttercup and Weathervane cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!)
