Scootin' By to Say Thanks

Scootin' By to Say Thanks card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
Here's my card for the current challenge from The Paper Players. I couldn't resist using some of my newest Lawn Fawn stamps for this simple and versatile sketch. The layout's round element is represented by the scooter riding bunny from the Scootin' By set. I stamped the images on white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers, then used my Scan 'n Cut to cut out the colored images. To create the background for the image, I adhered an aqua dotted panel to the top of an aqua card base for the sky, then added a strip of solid green cardstock to the bottom for grass. The road is a portion of one of the strips from the new Slimline Road Border dies. I placed it at the top of the green panel, then added the bunny and scooter on top using foam tape for dimension. To fill in the scene, I added a die cut sun and cloud created with the Spring Showers dies to the top right corner of the panel. The "scootin' by to say..." sentiment from the Scootin' By set was stamped at the bottom of the green panel. To finish the sentiment and the card, I stamped the "thanks!" I got as a freebie at the bottom of the card.

Materials Used:
Scootin' By stamp set, Slimline Road Border and Spring Showers dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic);  Aqua Mist, Spring Moss, Smokey Shadow, and Bright Buttercup cardstock, Aqua Mist patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Crystal Stardream metallic cardstock (The Paper Cut); foam tape
