Here's my card for the May Inspiration Challenge at Altenew. I was inspired by the colors in the photo as well as the geometric shapes in the umbrella panels and used those elements in my clean and simple design.
I used several of the lined triangle images from the Sohcahtoa set and a trio of Altenew's Crisp Inks to create a cluster of triangles on a round panel. The panel was adhered to the right side of an aqua blue cardstock panel over a strip of parrot green cardstock. I stamped the "you are appreciated" sentiment in Coral Bliss Crisp Ink on a piece of coral cardstock and used foam tape to add the text strip to the panel, overlapping the left side of the round panel. The panel was adhered to a white cardstock panel centered on a green card base. To tie all of the elements together, I arranged a trio of green enamel dots from the Tropical Forest enamel die pack around the sentiment strip.Materials Used:
Sohcahtoa stamp set, Coral Bliss, Parrot, and Sea Breeze Crisp inks, Halftone Circles Nesting dies, Tropical Forest enamel dots (Altenew); Cameo Coral cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Green Parakeet cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Ocean cardstock (Recollections); foam tape
Beautiful CAS card, Lori! Your graphic sense is simply superb! Thanks so much for playing the Altenew Inspiration Challenge!
