Thinking of You

Thinking of You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Altenew

Here's my card for the current challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches. I represented the layout's trio of round elements with a pair of flowers and a leafy branch. The two step flower images from Altenew's Watercolor Blooms stamp set were stamped in coordinating Crisp inks and cut out with the matching dies. I used foam tape to position them on the left side of a wide pink cardstock strip. The leafy branch was stamped in bright green ink and die cut, then tucked beneath the raised flowers. One of the "thinking of you" sentiments from the Thinking of You set was stamped in red ink at the right side of the panel. After edging the strip with a narrow bright pink cardstock strip, I adhered the piece to the bottom of a crisp white card base.

Materials Used:
Watercolor Blooms and Thinking of You stamp sets, Rouge, Crimson, and Just Green Crisp inks, Watercolor Blooms dies (Altenew); Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet cardstock (Papertrey Ink); foam tape
