It's time for another Color Throwdown! Amy Rysavy is our hostess with a bold mix of colors--navy, turquoise, green, and magenta.
I paired the colors with the sketch from the current Fab Friday challenge and stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti for this simple thank you design. I started out with a piece of magenta patterned paper with turquoise dots. It's hard to see the dots in the photo with all the vibrant magenta around them, but I promise they're there and that they're turquoise! I arranged a trio of fishtail flag strips extending out from the left side of the panel in contrasting turquoise, green, ad navy. The thank you sentiment from RC's Best Sentiments set was stamped on the turquoise strip in navy pigment ink. I accented the trio of strips with a trio of elements--a tulip, leafy branch, and a bow--then adhered the panel to a turquoise card base.To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD651. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd651 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team.
