I'll Always Bee Here for You

Here's my card for the current My Favorite Things Slimline Challenge. The challenge theme is things with wings and believe it or not, the bees in the Meant to Bee set are pretty much the only winged things I have in my MFT collection. I used a trio of the bees and the beehive from the set to make a scene on my slimline card. The images were colored with Copic markers and cut out with the matching dies, then adhered to an aqua dotted patterned paper panel using foam tape for dimension. I added a strip of green cardstock that I used a grass border punch on to ground the images along the bottom of the panel. To fill in the scene, I added a sun and clouds in the upper left corner. The set's "I'll always bee here for you" sentiment was stamped on a cheery yellow strip and placed on the panel. The finished scene was adhered to a green card base.
