So Happy I Found You

Here's my card for the current Lawn Fawnatics "little things" themed challenge. With my ladybug focal image, the card fits the current ladybug themed challenge at CAS on Friday, too. My ladybug is from Lawn Fawn's Hey Lady stamp set. I colored up the ladybug, leaf, and magnifying glass images with Copic markers, then carefully cut the pieces out by hand. The elements were arranged on a light blue card base, using foam tape to position the ladybug and magnifying glass for dimension. It's hard to see in the photo, but I put a piece of acetate on the back of the magnifying glass image to look like a glass lens. The set's "I'm so happy I found you" sentiment was curved on my block to match the shape of the leaf image, then stamped just above the leaf in black ink. For contrast, I adhered a strip of green cardstock to the bottom of the cardfront and edged it along the top with a narrow strip of red to tie in all of the colors of the image.
