Color Throwdown 654-Thanks a Ton

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Amy Rohl is our hostess with a neutral color palette--kraft, gray, and white.

Thanks a Ton card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
I paired the colors with the current challenge at Sunday Stamps for this fun thank you design. My focal image is a die cut elephant created with the Jungle Friends die set from My Favorite Things. For interest, I die cut the elephant's ear from a scrap of patterned paper and added an enamel dot eye to the die cut. The elephant was adhered to a pierced circle die cut over some kraft grass tufts. I used foam tape to set the elephant off from the background. The panel was adhered to a kraft card base over a pair of parallel gray striped patterned paper panels. The "thanks a ton" sentiment from MFT's Sweet Safari stamp set was stamped in black ink on a kraft cardstock strip. I added a strip of gray cardstock to the back of the kraft sentiment strip, offsetting it slightly for interest, before using more foam tape to place the sentiment strip on the cardfront at the elephant's feet.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD654If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd654 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team.
