So Very Thankful
Here's my card for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. The large leaf from Concord & 9th's Lace Leaf stamp set was perfect as a focal image for the design. The leaf was stamped in gold pigment ink on cream cardstock and heat embossed in gold. The embossed image was watercolored with a mix of Zig Clean Color markers and a water brush, creating a pretty gradient of colors. I layered the panel on to a coordinating golden yellow card base. For the sentiment, I stamped the "so very thankful" sentiment on two narrow cardstock strips, one golden yellow and one orange. The strips were positioned at the bottom of the stamped panel. I adhered a narrow strip of gold foil cardstock to the left edge of the panel to bring in another gold element and to complete the design.

The ombre effect of the watercoloring with the gold outline is gorgeous, Lori! Thanks for playing along with us at FMS this week.
