It'll Be Okay

Here's my card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I colored up the cutie from the Sunny Thoughts stamp set as my focal image. The image was cut out with my Scan 'n Cut machine, then added to a blue panel with green "grass" along the bottom using foam tape for dimension. I layered the panel on to a pale pink card base that matches the color I used for the girl's umbrella. To break up the pink, I added a strip of aqua gingham patterned paper at the bottom of the cardfront before putting the image panel in place. For the sentiment I stamped the "it'll be okay" sentiment from the My Umbrella stamp set in black ink on a shimmery white cloud-shaped speech bubble. The bubble was placed on the right side of the cardfront with foam tape to finish the design.
