Here's my card for the August inspiration challenge at Altenew. I was inspired by the color scheme and pretty florals in the challenge graphic. I used Altenew's Striped Florals set to create a simple floral arrangement featuring the colors from the graphic. The flowers and leaves were colored with Copic markers, then cut out with my Scan 'n Cut machine. After playing around with a variety of different arrangement for the elements, I settled on what you see here and put the elements in place, using foam tape on some of the pieces to add dimension. One of the "thinking of you" sentiments from the Thinking of You set was stamped to the left of the clustered elements in black ink. I added some silver sequins around the arrangement for a bit of sparkle, then adhered the panel to a coordinating pink card base.
Materials Used:
Striped Florals and Thinking of You stamp sets (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink
(Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Hibiscus Burst cardstock (Papertrey Ink); silver sequins; foam
tape
Such a beautiful card!
