Here's my card for this month's wedding themed Stock Your Stash challenge at Reverse Confetti and the current "use a die" challenge at The Flower Challenge.
My focal image is created from an arrangement of die cuts. I die cut the solid word "love" using RC's Big Love dies, then cut the individual letters from cream cardstock and the heart for the "o" from rosy pink. The letters were adhered to the gold die cut using foam tape for dimension, then I used more foam tape to place the word on a cream cardstock panel. My floral elements come from the Sketched Florals stamp set. The image outlines were stamped in kraft ink, then the solid sections were filled in using pink and green pigment inks. After die cutting the pieces, I tucked them beneath the raised die cut word. The "happiest wishes for you" sentiment from the Mod Floral Stacks set was stamped on a pink cardstock strip in kraft ink. I edged the sentiment strip with a narrow strip of gold cardstock, then tucked it beneath the raised die cut word. The finished panel was adhered to a pink card base matching the sentiment strip.
Materials Used:
Sketched Florals and Mod Floral Stacks stamp sets, Sketched Florals and Big Love dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Toffee Crunch, Memento Luxe Pistachio and Angel Pink inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Lovely Lady cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Gold Foil cardstock (Recollections); foam tape
Such a beautiful card Lori! Thanks for sharing with us over at 'The Flower Challenge' ;) Viv DT xx
