It's time for another Color Throwdown! I'm excited to be back for this week's challenge after taking a little time off to transition to my new job. Broni is our hostess with a seasonal mix of colors--orange, brown, and gray. The layout for my card is from the current Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge. I used the leaf pile and one of the mice from Lawn Fawn's You Autumn Know stamp set for my focal image. The images were colored with Copic markers, then cut out by hand. I adhered a panel of orange plaid cardstock to the top of an orange card base, angling it to leave a point near the middle of the card. The images were adhered over the point using foam tape for dimension. I stamped the set's "you really autumn know I'm thankful for you" sentiment at the bottom of the panel in black ink. So that I could be sure the words were straight and stamped clearly, I used my MISTI for the text.
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using
these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project
using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color
matches, something close works just fine.
Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your
project. And, if you upload your project
to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD663.
If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the
hashtag #ctd663 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on
Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color
Throwdown team and our Guest Star Stamper Kerry Bunting.
