Color Throwdown 681-You Brightened My Day

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Amy Rysavy is our hostess this week with a color combination inspired by a beautiful bouquet--celery green, sage green, pale pink, and plum.

The colors were the perfect opportunity to create another clean and simple design using Reverse Confetti's Poppies stamp set. I used pink, plum, and green to stamp the cluster of flowers and leaves, then cut out the image with the matching die. To go with the flowers, I found a strip of pink striped patterned paper that I edged with plum cardstock, then placed at the bottom of a green card base. The flower image was adhered over the strip using foam tape for dimension. I stamped the "you brightened my day" sentiment from RC's Word Up set just beneath the patterned paper strip in black ink to finish the design.
