Color Throwdown 706-The World Needs More You

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Lisa is our hostess this week with a cool mix of colors--aqua, lime green, and white.

The layout for my design comes from the current TGIF Challenge. The aqua and green made me think of land and water, so I used the globe image from the Miss Your Hugs stamp set from My Favorite Things as my focal image. The image was stamped using pigment inks. My MISTI helped me to get the placement of the two step image just right. After cutting the image out with the matching die, I used foam tape to place it on an aqua pierced circle die cut. The image was adhered to a lime green panel positioned at the top of a white cardstock panel. I stamped the "the world needs more you" sentiment from MFT's More Essential Sentiments stamp set in black ink on a narrow aqua strip. The sentiment was adhered across the lime panel below the round panels. The finished panel was adhered to an aqua cardfront matching the sentiment strip.
