Color Throwdown 728

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Lynn is our hostess this week with a mix of colors inspired by some sweet seasonal treats--red, brown, pink, and green.

Berry Sweet card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
The layout for my design is from the current challenge at The Paper Players.  I couldn't resist going with the berry theme from the inspiration photo in my card! I represented the layout's two shaped elements with a pair of large die cut strawberries. The berries were inked with red and pink distress oxides, starting with the darker red at the bottom and fading to a softer pink at the top. I stamped the seeds on top in brown ink, then added the green die cut top to each berry before placing the berries on a white panel using foam tape. The "you're so berry sweet" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Berry Sweet stamp set was stamped between the berries in brown ink. I adhered the panel on a soft pink card base to finish the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD728.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd728 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper.
