Color Throwdown 741-Thank You for All You Do

 

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Amy Rysavy is our hostess this week with a mix of colors perfect for spring--sage green, pink, yellow, and brown.

I paired the colors with the current sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday for this floral thank you card. My florals are from Altenew's Bold Bunch stamp set. I used a variety of Altenew inks and my MISTI to stamp up a bunch of flowers and leaves, then cut out the images with the matching dies. After settling on an arrangement that I liked, I secured the pieces to a sage green panel. The "thank you for all you do" sentiment from the Mini Hibiscus Tea set was a perfect fit for the panel's lower left corner. I stamped the text in brown ink, then added a tiny brown brad to each side of the panel. The panel was adhered to a yellow card base over a trio of pink fishtail flag strips.
