Color Throwdown 793-Best. Mom. Ever

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Broni is our hostess this week with a vibrant color combination--orange, purple, and aqua.

I used the colors to create a card for my mom for Mother's Day. My focal image is a pretty bouquet from the Mother's Day Bouquet set from My Favorite Things. I used Copic markers to color up the image, then carefully cut it out by hand. The image was adhered to a purple pierced circle die cut using foam tape for dimension. I positioned the round panel at the right side of an aqua card base, then trimmed the rounded edge so it was flush with the side of the card base. The "Best. Mom. Ever" sentiment from MFT's All About Mom stamp set was stamped in purple ink on a narrow white strip. I used more foam tape to place it on the card, slightly overlapping the bouquet. A trio of orange matte enamel dots scattered around the sentiment strip completed the design.
