Color Throwdown 841-Fall Thank You

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Lisa is our hostess this with a pretty mix of colors--terracotta, navy, and pale blue.

Thank You So Much card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud
I added in a little metallic shine for my take on the challenge. After die cutting a trio of leaves with stitched detailing from terracotta cardstock, I partially dipped them in copper embossing powder, heating it for a pretty shine. I arranged the leaves on a pale blue card base with a wide strip of contrasting navy cardstock near the bottom, using foam tape for dimension. A narrow strip of terracotta cardstock edges the bottom of the navy panel to tie the elements together. The "thank you so much" sentiment was heat embossed in the same copper as on the leaves for a final sparkly touch.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD841. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd841 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team.
