Chalk It Up!

I have one more sample with the just released Kitchen Sink Stamps set Snow Flurry (and the Backgrounds & Borders set, too) to share with you today. It's posted in my SCS gallery here. I made the card for today's SCS Ways to Use It challenge, which was to use chalk inks. If you like what you've seen so far today, be sure to check out SCS for the special discount code for the Kitchen Sink Stamps store--but, hurry, because the code's only good for today . . .

The card's made using Versamagic Chalk inks. These inks work beautifully with photopolymer stamps. They give a crisp, clean image and clean off easily, too. I really like the bold look of red and black together with just a touch of white. I used a vellum overlay and lots of dimensionals here. I stamped the word "joy" and cut out the letters. They're attached to the vellum overlay with dimensionals. I also added some Stickles to the centers of the snowflakes for extra sparkle.

Tomorrow is bloggers challenge day---be sure to check back for a fun project with lots of embellishments . . .

Materials Used:
Snow Flurry and Backgrounds & Borders stamp sets (Kitchen Sink Stamps); Midnight Black and Cloud White chalk inks (Versamagic); Real Red, Basic Black, and Shimmery White cardstock, white vellum, dimensionals, glue dots (Stampin' Up!); red grosgrain (Michaels); Frosted Lace Stickles (Ranger)
