The auditions for American Idol were in Salt Lake City today and so were we. Since the arena where the auditions were being held was only a few blocks away from our hotel, we decided to take a walk over to check out the events. We wandered around the outside of the arena, taking in the scene.Then, just as we were about to head on to another SLC sight, we spotted Justin Guarini, Season 1 runner up. We hung around to watch him tape an interview for the TV Guide channel, then approached him to ask if we could take a picture with him. He graciously agreed to pose with us for a few photos. So, here's the photo of Tami and me with Justin. An added and unexpected bonus on our SU! convention trip . . .
