The theme for this year's convention is Celebrate '08. Since convention is really a big stamping party when you’re a hobby demo like I am, I decided to use the Mark the Date and Full Calendar stamp sets to create a swap card to go along with the celebration theme. I combined the stamp sets with festive-feeling colors. I stamped the calendar image and used one of the tiny icons to mark today’s date in a bright color (I don’t have tiny number stamps, so I just stamped on the fourth Wednesday of the month). I added the large arrow from the My Way punch to draw attention to the day. I stamped “July” along the side of the calendar, tone on tone, so it’s kind of hard to see. I think this would make a really cute party invitation, don’t you?Materials Used (all from Stampin’ Up!):
