Sketches {by Tamara} Recipe #17
Here's my card for this week's recipe challenge at Sketches {by Tamara}. This week's required ingredients were something clear, something raised with dimensionals, and ribbon.
I used my new Daisybella image from Stamping Bella for my challenge card. I colored the stamped image using Copic markers. I stamped the flower portion of the image twice. The second flower is colored, cut out, and placed on top of the first image using dimensionals. The flower is embellished with some Stickles and a clear gem at the center.
I added a clear flower embellishment that's a larger version of the flower in Daisybella's hand. It's hard to see in the photo, but it's there. I placed a teal button at the center to draw attention to it. I wrapped a piece of yellow ribbon around the patterned paper panel at the bottom of the cardfront to complete the card.
If you have a chance, stop by Tamara's blog to check out how the other recipe design team members incorporated these ingredients in their cards and layouts.
Materials Used:
Daisybella image (Stamping Bella); markers (Copic Ciao); white cardstock (Xerox); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); Taken with Teal, Pumpkin Pie, and Barely Banana cardstock, white gel pen, dimensionals (Stampin' Up!); patterned paper (Cloud 9 Design-Sparkle Sunrise Bouquet); Yellow Stickles (Ranger); clear flower (Heidi Swapp); button (Walmart); Lemon Tart twill (Papertrey Ink)
