Bella Thanks You

As promised, here are a pair of cards featuring some of the Bella girls from Stamping Bella. I used Julee's Mojo Monday sketch for this one. Lattebella is colored with Copic markers to coordinate with the Almost Amethyst Prints Series designer paper on the cardfront. The flower on her mug sort of matched the flower on the paper, so I went with it. I still have tons of this paper to use up!

I embellished the image with some Lavender Stickles. I also used white Fun Flock on the cushion of the stool. This is an idea that looked better in my mind than on paper . . .

I paired the image with a sentiment from the My Favorite Things Hot Stuff set. It's a perfect match for this image.

Materials Used:
Lattebella image (Stamping Bella); sentiment (My Favorite Things); white cardstock (Xerox); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic Ciao); Elegant Eggplant Classic ink, Elegant Eggplant, Brocade Blue, and Almost Amethyst cardstock, Elegant Eggplant grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals (Stampin' Up!); white Fun Flock (Stampendous); Swiss Dot embossing folder (Cuttlebug); Lavender Stickles (Ranger)

The second card features Hockeymomabella. I got this image because I'm a huge hockey fan, so I had to have it. I wasn't sure when I'd ever have an occasion to use it, but I finally did.

One of my mom's co-workers offered me a pair of tickets to Sunday's Washington Capitals game, so I used Hockeymomabella to make a quick thank you card. I haven't been to a hockey game since March when my dad and I traveled to Wisconsin for the college hockey regional semifinal tournament and it's been much, much longer since I've been to a professional hockey game. The seats were fabulous and so was the game. The Caps won and Alexander Ovechkin scored a goal right in front of us. He is so much fun to watch!

I picked the color scheme to match the colors of the Caps uniforms--red, white, and blue. The Bella is colored with Copic markers and embellished with a little silver gel pen and some Dazzling Diamonds, too. I added a sentiment on a round tab punch. The "thanks" is from the Occasions Collection hostess set in the current SU! catalog. It's actually a "Thanksgiving" stamp, but I just inked up the "thanks."

I'm off to work today for the first time in a week. Hopefully, we'll be sent home before the usual end of the work day . . .

Materials Used:
Hockeymomabella image (Stamping Bella); white cardstock (Xerox); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic Ciao);Occasions Collection stamp set, Night of Navy Classic ink, Night of Navy, Real Red, and Brocade Blue cardstock, Real Red Prints Series designer paper, Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon, silver brad, round tab punch, mat pack and paper piercing tool, white gel pen, Dazzling Diamonds (Stampin' Up!)
