Dream

I pulled out my just arrived March Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Co. for my card for this week's Paper Craft Planet sketch challenge. Adela is our hostess this week and she's given us a fun square sketch to try out.

I was drawn to the cute rainbow image in the kit and thought it would work well for the square panel at the center of the card. I stamped the image on white cardstock, colored it with Copic markers, then carefully cut it out. I stamped and cut out the cloud portion of the image a second time. This one is covered with Dazzling Diamonds and attached to the colored image with dimensionals. It really is dazzling IRL!

I set the colored image on a Soft Sky panel, then stamped the "dream" sentiment in the upper left corner of the panel in Baja Breeze ink.

I paired two contrasting panels of patterned papers for the cardfront. They're arranged on a Barely Banana square card base. I added the image panel and a white button with a red ribbon tied through the button holes to finish the card.

I hope you'll play along with us this week. If you do, upload your card to the PCP gallery using the keyword 032109 so it can be added to the sketch gallery for everyone to admire.
