Unity Challenge: Go Green

Here's my card for this week's Unity Challenge. This week's challenge comes from Joy. She challenged us to make something with green as the primary color and to use a never before or underused Unity stamp on the project.

I love the Bubble Gum Tree image, but I've had such a hard time using it! I think it originally came in one of the Kits of the Month. Here, I stamped it in brown ink on Kiwi Kiss cardstock. I stamped it again on Ripe Avocado cardstock and cut out the circles. I attached them to the Kiwi Kiss tree, using dimensionals on some of them for an interesting look.

Then I created "grass" using layered scalloped strips and attached this to the bottom of the image panel. I really like how this looks.

The rest of the card is pretty simple. I used a piece of paper with stripes in various shades of green along the bottom of the cardfront and attached a trio of green faux Dew Drops in the empty space on the right of the card. The final thing I did was add the Lime Stickles to the tree. Amazingly, I didn't smudge any of the glitter spots with my hands and the card did not fall face down on the table while still wet. That almost never happens for me!
