Kitchen Sink Monday

It's time for another Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday. Since our Crew Leader Dee is sitting this week out due to some health issues, I thought I'd use some KSS stamps to make a get well card to send her way.

I used the bear image from the 3 Step Get Well Teddy set as the main image. The bear is stamped in 4 different shades of brown on a vanilla oval. I inked the edges a little to go along with the vintage look of the bear image. The image is layered a brown scalloped oval and embellished with a red confetti flower with a Dew Drop at the center.

I used a melon card base along with a panel of patterned paper in pink/red/orangey tones. To bring in a little more red, I added a paper pierced red strip on the left side of the patterned paper panel and tied a piece of red taffeta ribbon around it, too. The "get well soon" sentiment is stamped on the patterned paper in Riding Hood Red ink
